This 29 minute extract from “The Missing Link” Documentary Series provides an insight into the approach to Homeopathy adopted by the Government of India through The Ministry Department of AYUSH and the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) which is a body under the control of AYUSH.

This rare insight into the Indian system of primary healthcare is one that everyone vested with responsibility for making decisions as to the future healthcare of a nation, should take the time to view and accept the genuine offers of co-operation and partnership on offer by the Indian Government that feature  in this presentation.

We propose that a such an investigation should be an integral part of the current UK Government consultation regarding the future of Homeopathy within the NHS and should inspire fair and independent research involving experts from both the Allopathic and Homeopathic communities in equal proportion.

Dr Rajan Sankaran
Inspired and nurtured by his father, Dr. P. Sankaran, Rajan graduated Gold Medallist from the Bombay Homeopathic Medical College in 1981. He is the Assistant Professor in the department of Repertory in Smt. C.M.P. Homoeopathic Medical College, Mumbai and is attached to its hospital as the Honorary Physician.

Throughout his twenty years of practice Dr. Rajan has worked to unearth a system for homeopathy that gives consistent results. He has given us the classification of remedy states into kingdoms and has added miasms to the already known ones. His concept of disease as a Delusion changed the process of case taking from mere data collection to understanding the patient beyond the physical level.

Dr. Farokh Master
Dr. Master’s birth into homeopathy was in the year June 1976, when he joined Bombay homeopathic medical college, after giving up his studies at the orthodox school of medicine. He studied homeopathy (L.C.E.H. ) at the Bombay Homeopathic Medical College, Mumbai; (1976 – 1980) He was India’s First MD in Homeopathy who stood First Class First with a Gold Medal. Currently, Dr. Master is doing his PhD program from Bombay University on Cancer and Homoeopathy.


Farokh was the first Indian to be honoured by the House of Lords, UK for propagation of Homeopathic Systems of Medicine.
Rated as Top 10 Best Homeopathic Doctors in the world by Pioneer University, Oxon U.K., and Members of the Board of the Pioneer Homoeopathic Academy of U.K and thereafter conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Homeopathy in 2006
