Dr. Julie Geraghty

An interview with Dr Julie Geraghty. MBChB, FFHom, DCH, DFFP. Homeopathic Physician Medical Dean of Faculty of Homeopathy.

Julie Geraghty did her medical training in South Africa. She came to UK in 1986 and worked at Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital before joining the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital medical team prescribing homeopathy, specializing in chronic fatigue, auto immune cases, and people suffering from anxiety.

“I discovered homoeopathy during my GP registrar year, and have never looked back! As homeopathy fascinated me, I decided to pursue it full-time rather than going into General Practice.”

Julie Geraghty has studied with Massimo Mangliavori, Rajan Sankaran, and shared considerable experience with her colleagues at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital. She is the medical dean of the faculty of homeopathy. She lectures worldwide and teaches postgraduate GEMS Sensation Seminars and CPD master class lectures at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital’s Academic Department.

She is on the team of homeopathically trained doctors working at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, Portland Centre for Integrated Medicine, and has a busy private practice in Clifton, Bristol. Email:

Dr Elizabeth Thompson


An interview with Dr Elizabeth ThompsonMBBS BA(Oxon) MRCP (UK) MFHom FFHom DM Consultant Homeopathic Physician and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Palliative Medicine

Elizabeth Thompson is Lead Clinician for an outpatient service from the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital with a team of six doctors and she is the Academic Director for a five-year academic teaching programme which includes the new BHH master classes and GEMS post graduate study days which have been a great success.
She also runs the Integrative Cancer Care Service.

Dr Thompson was awarded her DM thesis from Oxford University in 2009, the first homeopathic thesis to sit in the Bodleian library describing her research into the use of homeopathy for the cancer patient. She is a fellow of the Faculty of Homeopathy and the College of Medicine and was elected Vice President of the Faculty of Homeopathy in February 2011.

Jane is the current President of The British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons.  In this interview at 14:30 on 21/05/2015 in Weymouth, she describes her introduction into Veterinary Homeopathy and how this has made a positive expansion to the range of options available to her in the treatment of animals.


David Balen – Specialist Insurance Broker


David is the Managing Director of  Specialist Insurance Brokers, Balens Ltd. based in Malvern, Worcestershire.  His company provides professional indemnity insurance cover to complimentary and alternative health practitioners,  including homeopathic practitioners. Andrew is a Registered Homeopath who has many years experience of providing homeopathic consultations within a GP practice. Enhancement of adaptive biological effects by nanotechnology preparation methods in homeopathic medicines

Multiple studies have demonstrated that traditional homeopathic manufacturing reagents and processes can generate remedy source and silica nanoparticles (NPs). Homeopathically-made NPs would initiate adaptive changes in an organism as a complex adaptive system (CAS) or network. Adaptive changes would emerge from several different endogenous amplification processes that respond to exogenous danger or threat signals that manufactured nanomaterials convey, including (1) stochastic resonance (SR) in sensory neural systems and (2) time-dependent sensitization (TDS)/oscillation. SR is nonlinear coherent amplification of a weak signal by the superposition of a larger magnitude white noise containing within it the same frequencies of the weak signal. TDS is progressive response magnitude amplification and oscillatory reversal in response direction to a given low dose at physiological limits with the passage of time.   and

Dr. Stephen Messer graduated with a bachelor’s degree from City College of the City University of New York, and a master’s degree in science education from the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated in 1979 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. In 1988, Dr. Messer completed post-graduate training and board examinations to become among the very first NDs in the U. S. to obtain board certification by Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (DHANP).

Dr. Messer is a founder and past president of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians. He served on the board of directors of the National Center for Homeopathy from 1987 to 2008 and has served on the boards of several homeopathic and naturopathic organizations, including the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He is a member of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians, National Center for Homeopathy, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.
