The threat posed by this new evidence, clearly triggered a co-ordinated campaign by the sceptics to oppose the use of Homeopathy in the NHS, despite its acceptance and use since 1948 when the Homeopathic Hospitals were embraced by the NHS at its inception. Their campaign gained success in 2018 when its use was finally banned by the NHS, so unlike India its availability was sadly denied during the Covid Pandemic.
