Introduction to the Zodiacal Anatomy-Pathology Matrix
This document, provided by Dr Yubraj Sharma, is now available within the Knowledge Hub for use by our subscribers that presents a ground-breaking integration of anatomical and pathological correlations with the 360 degrees of the zodiac, subdivided by decans (10° segments) and dwads (2.5° segments). It serves as a foundational reference for medical astrologers, psychosomatic researchers, and practitioners exploring the astrological embodiment of human physiology and disease.
The tables herein represent preliminary and evolving research, exploring how each segment of the zodiac corresponds not only to regions of the body (in line with traditional medical astrology) but also to highly specific physiological functions and clinical pathologies. These associations extend beyond the classical rulerships, incorporating insights from neuroendocrinology, immunology, embryology, and integrative medicine.
Purpose and Ethical Use
- This work is intended for astrological interpretation and educational exploration only, and does not confer diagnostic authority. Clients should always seek appropriate medical assessment and care from qualified healthcare professionals.
- The data can be used to enrich natal chart interpretations, especially where there are ongoing health concerns or significant transits/directions to sensitive degrees.
- It may also support rectification efforts, by observing the correlation between known health conditions and specific anatomical rulerships indicated by planetary positions or angular alignments.
- For predictive astrology, these tables may guide hypotheses about possible somatic manifestations of future astrological periods, particularly where themes of the corresponding dwad anatomy are activated.
On the Use of Degrees
All degrees are listed in decimal format. For astrological work that requires arc minutes, convert accordingly:
e.g., 7.5° = 7°30′.
Example
Aries sign (head region)
Decan | Dwad | Degrees | Anatomy/Physiology, Pathology |
Aries | Aries | 0 – 2.5 | Frontal brain lobe reception of inspiration, pineal gland and original fire (Promethean descent of the human Ego in mythology), projective abstract thinking. Frontal lobe disorders, pineal tumours. |
Aries | Taurus | 2.5 – 5.0 | Hormonal neurotransmitters, neuro-endocrine system. How the hypothalamus and pituitary integrate with the rest of the brain. The blood circulation to the hypothalamus is uniquely outside of the blood-brain-barrier. Any peripheral endocrine disorders may be due to problems in the hypothalamus or pituitary releasing hormones. |
